Employee Banking Services

All California National Bank employees are eligible for products and services offered through the Employee Banking program.

    No monthly service fee
    No minimum balance required
    Free checks in styles that are waived for employees
  • One Free Savings Account
    No monthly service fee
    No minimum balance
  • One Free IRA Account
    No annual fee
Waived Fees

The following fees will be waived assuming these are unusual /occasional occurrences.  If the transaction becomes routine, these services will not be waived:

  • Stop payments
  • Wire transfers
  • Cashier checks, and travelers’ checks
ATM/VISA Check Card
  • Free
  • If in Free, Value, or Market Rate Checking all foreign ATM fees are waived. In Value or Market Rate Checking, surcharges from other institutions are refunded.
  • If employee has not converted to the 3 accounts listed above, and remains in the old Free, Interest Checking, Money Market, or Market Checking account, the non-proprietary fees charged by Cal National are waived but the account still incurs surcharges imposed in other institutions.
Overdraft Protection
  • If the employee has qualified for an overdraft protection line, the transfer fees will be waived.
  • Transfer fees for CheckRight overdraft protection are waived
CDs
  • Employees will receive an interest bonus of .25% over the current stated rate
Mortgage Loans
  • Employees will not have to pay the standard processing fee
  • On fixed rate loans, employees will receive at least a .125% discount on the rate for the life of the loan. On ARM loans, employees will receive a .25% discount in the margin during their employment with Cal National.
Equity Loans
  • Employees will receive a .25% discount in the margin during their employment with Cal National

Membership Termination: Products and services revert to standard bank products and services upon termination of employment. Applicable fees will be accessed at that time as disclosed in the "Deposit Account and Services Agreement" Brochure.

The benefits described herein may be changed at any time, with or without notice. If there is a discrepancy between this document and the benefits plan documents, the plan documents are controlling. All benefits are available to full time employees. HMO, Dental, Vision, Vacation, 401k, and EAP benefits are available to part time employees regularly scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more. Vacation, 401k, and EAP are also available to part time employees who work less then 30 hours per week.
